Mission Trips

This team will be flying to Guadalajara, Mexico and driving to Tepic to work alongside a Vida Nueva Ministries church plant. The team will be assisting in building an auditorium to be used by the church and seminary, as well as building relationships with kids and families from the community. This trip will end with a fun beach day on the Mexican west coast. This trip is open to adults and kids ages 16 and up at the time of the trip (minors must be accompanied by a parent).

This team will be flying to San Antonio, Texas and driving over the border to Piedras Negras, Mexico to serve alongside Vida Nueva Ministries. This team will be assisting in facility upgrades at the school and camp, as well as building relationships with kids and families from the community. This trip will end with a fun overnight in San Antonio, TX. This trip is open to adults and families, including anyone who is 10 or older at the time of the trip (minors must be accompanied by a parent).

This team will drive 3 hours to Oblong, Illinois, to work alongside our mission partners at Oblong Christian Children's Home. The team will be participating in projects that include light construction, organization, cleaning, yard work and painting. This can be an amazing opportunity for a family to serve together. (Ages 6 and up) Trip cost is $50. Trip cost does not include travel expenses (contribution towards driver’s gas), and 2 fast-food meals (driving down & back up)

This PEACE Team will go with a focus on bringing basic health care to people in rural Malawian villages. Additional opportunities to support community needs may also be explored. It takes all kinds of skills to make a medical facility run well in the United States. The same is true in Malawi! We need people with medical experience, and we also need people with other skills to provide the best support to the communities we will serve. This trip will conclude with an excursion to beautiful Lake Malawi. This trip is open to anyone who is 16 or older at the time of the trip (minors must be accompanied by a parent).

This team will fly into Nairobi and spend some time at Pangani School with our friends at Missions of Hope International (MOHI), before heading to the rural community of Nyeri, about 3 hours north of Nairobi by car. In Nyeri, we’ll host a VBS experience for the students and serve in the community alongside the MOHI staff. This awesome trip will finish with a beautiful safari experience. This trip is open to anyone who is 16 or older at the time of the trip (minors must be accompanied by a parent).

We have a brand-new opportunity to serve our city! This team from Parkview will be working alongside our friends at New Life Community Church in Chicago in the Little Village and Humboldt Park neighborhoods to learn about urban ministry. During these 3 days, you will experience working with inner-city food pantries, helping facilitate neighborhood peace block parties, assisting migrant families to life in America and equipping the neighborhood churches. This trip is open to students and adults, including anyone who is 16 or older at the time of the trip (minors must be accompanied by a parent). Trip cost includes overnight accommodations, insurance, groceries for breakfasts & lunches, dinners out at restaurants (tacos!), travel

This will be a combined trip with both a Clean Water Team and a Medical Team! The Clean Water PEACE Team will go with a focus on bringing clean water to rural villages in Malawi through solar-powered clean water wells. No experience is required. We will teach you everything you need to know! The Medical PEACE Team will go with a focus on bringing basic health care to people in rural Malawian villages. In the rural region of Turkana, we'll host a VBS experience for the students at Napuu School and Locheredome School. Time may also be spent serving in the community alongside MOHI staff. This team will be primarily serving at the annual horse show at OCCH, by helping with parking, check-in and event details, as well as possibly some light construction, cleaning, yard work and painting.
